Processing of personal data:

We collect the personal information we consider necessary and relevant to establish a customer relationship with you. This will typically include name, telephone number, email address and nationality. It may also include credit card details. 

The legal basis for collecting and storing personal data when booking accommodation or other services is GDPR Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b ("contractual necessity") and/or GDPR Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f ("legitimate interest").

The legal basis for the collection and storage of personal data for general contact and inquiries is GDPR Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b (“contractual necessity”) and/or GDPR Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f (“legitimate interest”).

The information is stored for as long as it is considered necessary to fulfill our agreements with you as a customer. 

Critical information, including card information, is automatically deleted after checkout.

We use cookies on the website vesterland.no. This is used to collect information about how many people visit the website, where they come from and how often they visit the website. The cookies anonymize all personal information. If you do not wish to accept cookies, you must change this yourself in your browser. As of April 2024, cookies will not be used for purposes other than anonymized analysis and to ensure that the website functions optimally. 

Access, correction and deletion: 

According to GDPR Article 15, you have the right to access the information that is registered about you. Access can be obtained by contacting us by e-mail: post@vesterland.no . If registered information is incorrect or incomplete, you can demand correction of this information, cf. GDPR Article 16.  

According to GDPR Article 17, you can request that personal data stored about you be deleted. Please contact post@vesterland.no if you wish to do so.
